AAMIR : A Beginning ??

The Other Day I saw 'AAMIR' . A thought provoking film with powerful performances.

But what touched me most was how the director never even once got distracted from the main story plot.There was not even a hint of anything else other than the STORY.There lied the strength and dare I say there lay the weakness. It wouldn't be commercially successful because of that reason but it will be noticed because of that reason also.

The film starts with a common man being harassed at the airport just because his name is AAMIR and other man with name AMAR being left off easily . You just feel its gonna talk about the atrocities on the minority . But it goes along very beautifully telling how such a man can be dragged into things he doesn't believe in.

There could have been many endings possible .First One AAMIR running off the bus and leaving the box in the bus.Second One He might not have the courage to get out of the bus and died there only which was very rare.Third he leaves the bomb somewhere and goes to tell everything to Police which nobody would have allowed him to and he is killed there.But the director chose the best possible option , he dies and doesn't allow box to effect others.

Add to that the effect of title AAMIR , the leader into this situation.

Somehow you just cant help feeling more such movies with more such performances needs to be made in our industry.
